Employee Spotlight: Heidy Borges, RBT

1. Where do you call home?

Home is the place where I dedicate most of my time from Monday to Friday. It is the place where I get to spend time helping others and changing lives. This place I call home is my job at Applied ABC.  

2. How many years have you worked in the ABA field?

I have been working in the ABA field for five years now.  

3. How did you end up working for Applied ABC?

This is a very important question for me. I ended up working for Applied ABC thanks to my brother’s therapist who suggested me to move on from my previous job and look for a better opportunity.  

 4. What’s the most fulfilling part of your work?

The most fulfilling part of my work is every time my kiddos can learn something new and be successful in a very difficult area. I really love to be part of their improvement and achievements.  

 5. How do you unwind after a long day?

I always get to unwind every day by listening to classical music and talking about my day with my family. 

6. What are some interesting facts about you?

Some interesting facts about me is that I am an introverted person and very shy. I play two instruments (piano and violin) and I love classical music.
