Where do you call home?  

I reside in Greenville, South Carolina 

 

How many years have you worked in the ABA field?  

I have been working in the ABA field for a year now. 

 

How did you end up working for Applied ABC?  

I was working in a school system in the Special Education department for children with autism and behavioral disabilities. I received a message from Applied ABC right around the time I was thinking of making a change to work with children on the spectrum a little more and utilize my experience and training. 

 

What’s the most fulfilling part of your work?  

The most fulfilling part of my job is witnessing my clients grow mentally from the techniques I share with them and seeing them use these new skills to become more socially connected and aware.  

 

How do you unwind after a long day? 

 I unwind after long days by listening to mellow music, sipping my favorite hot tea, and meditating.  

 

What are some interesting facts about you?  

A few interesting facts about me would be that I love martial arts movies, am 22 years older than my sister, and love train rides.  

 

Could you talk about a meaningful success story that you had with a client?  

The most meaningful success story I had with a client was when my client and I were talking about gratitude, and my client stated that they were grateful for me and couldn't see their day without me in it. This brought tears to my eyes. The client said they admired me and had learned so much from me, making me feel like my heart was bursting wide open.
